Remediation Manager for Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) Remediation will play a significant and critical role in the success of WPB’s objectives and outcomes within the Remediation programme.
In this role, you will be accountable for providing support to Remediation Lead in the successful delivery of various critical Remediation projects across WPB. You will also be responsible for requirements gathering related to remediation projects, followed by solution selection and design as well as responsible for executing the remediation and customer contact strategy approach.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Employs an improvement mindset to identify and define issues or problems that are less obvious; participates actively and constructively in brainstorming meetings where problems are discussed and/or resolvedRegular interaction with primary stakeholders and coordinate with departments tasked with delivery of the Remediation initiatives in country including Regulatory Compliance, Legal, Proposition, Business Risk Control Management and Business Implementation.Understand and manage programme client / stakeholder requirements and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.Prepare updates to provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis of the progress of the Remediation Programmes and work streams including an assessment of the impact on the business and recommended intervention requirements where necessary.Liaise with senior stakeholders both inside and outside of the Remediation Programme.Some career choices have more impact than others.

Strong experience and understanding of retail banking, wealth management businesses and the associated control frameworksExceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships with both Compliance and business stakeholdersA pragmatic approach to providing solution based advice/guidance, with our customer's needs front of mindRelevant tertiary qualification in related business fieldExperience in the development and delivery of governance frameworksAbility to lead and influence strategy and decisionsAttention to detail i.e. the ability to complete tasks with thoroughness, accuracy, and consistencyPreference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
