**Clean Harbors** is seeking a **Remediation Superintendent** . The **Remediation Superintendent** is primarily responsible for leading and supervising crews in the field on projects. This position is responsible for activities at customer sites and helping with onsite projects. 95-100% travel will be required to project sites.
********This position requires experience with civil or remediation experience with soil/dirt projects.**
**Locations:** Baton Rouge, LA; Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; Huntsville, AL; or Houston, TX preferred
**Pay:** Earn between $95,000-$120,000 annually depending on experience and OT, plus per diem of $55 a night. All travel expenses covered, flights both ways.
~Per Diem available daily, hourly competitive pay rates, travel costs covered by the company. The typical work schedule is 6 weeks on the road and then 1-week home.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
+ Meet with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any pending complaints or issues;
+ Participate in joint calls with specialists as needed and maintain a professional image when dealing with customers;
+ Maintain up to date confined space supervisor and emergency response supervisor certifications;
+ Manage large scale field service and emergency response projects when directed;
+ Understand and work with the Coordinator in the communication of manpower, equipment and resources required to complete field service and emergency response projects;
+ Act as the on-call coordinator on an as needed basis;
+ Oversee projects for Health and Safety, profitability, completeness and professionalism;
+ Responsible for H&S issues surrounding projects assigned, including reviewing operational procedures to assure correct H&S action plans and communicate effectively with the H&S organization regarding onsite specific action;
+ Respond immediately when on-call or secure proper coverage, and communicate replacement name to supervisor/manager;
+ Enforce and ensure OSHA, EPA and H&S standards or regulations are complaint;
+ Responsible for the timely reporting of work-related accidents or incidents to immediate supervisor;
+ Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum High School education required;
+ Experience in Civil or Remediation dirt/soil projects required;
+ BS/BA in ASC or BS/BA Preferred;
+ Emergency response supervisor training and Marine Spill Response training preferred;
+ Knowledge of scoping and pricing Field Service work;
+ Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations;
+ Knowledge of various types of equipment;
+ Proficiency in Windows based applications.
+ 3-5 years of experience in remediation or similar preferred;
+ 3-5 years of experience in environmental field service operations preferred;
+ 2-4 years supervisory experience preferred;
+ **Valid DL and Clean MVR required;**
+ Ability to travel.
