Responsibilities Perform skilled repair labor as assigned after water mitigation and mold remediation has been performed including, but not limited to, Repair and replace drywall - match texture and sand/paint to match existing walls. Install insulation to match the current. Install baseboard and paint and seal to match. Repair subflooring and install the flooring to match: tile, carpet, and various types of wood flooring. Install cabinets and/or toe kicks removed during water mitigation to match existing. Manage multiple projects while assessing repairs needed to homes and accurately sourcing and purchasing materials for these projects. Work independently or with an assistant and properly manage repair times and costs. Show up on time for shifts, in proper uniform & well-groomed. Continued ongoing education and training for certifications related to the job. Learn & practice commitment to customer service. Assist in emergency response situations as needed. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary Must be able to exercise good judgment & to understand & carry out written & or oral instructions, along with sound problem-solving ability. Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and provide clear explanations regarding repairs. Ability to communicate clearly with team members, project managers, and subcontractors.
