Job Description

Working with a team of 3-5 on Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Laboratory buildings in the Design Development and Construction Document phases. The primary responsibilities of a Project Manager are to manage teams of internal staff and consultants and to collaborate with owners and builders. Managers plan and execute projects of all sizes in partnership with a Principal of the firm. Additionally, managers often play a role in business development. Project Managers report to a Principal and work with one or more Job Captains to achieve results.

Hard SkillsExpertise working with hospital, clinic, and other medical project types preferredExperience with education, science and technology, or other project types a plusAbility to plan and manage project budgets and schedulesExperience managing teams of architects and external consultantsAbility to negotiate and manage consultant and owner contractsExperience using Revit in all phases of design and documentation a plusMinnesota, Nebraska, or Wisconsin Architectural license preferredSoft SkillsDemonstrates judgment and decision-making to connect with organizational goals and prioritiesSkills in communicating with client leadership regarding project objectivesFacilitate mentoring and coaching of less experienced employeesExperience participating in marketing and business development efforts
