EWINGS Network Contractors are typically responsible for provider targets to contact providers, build relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage various elements of the contracting process. These entry-level resources are responsible for securing individual professional LOIs, LOAs, or standard contracts with both PCPs and Specialist. They are responsible to maximize the number of contracted assigned providers. Managing Contracting Processes + Using supplied data, call providers, establish a relationship, and initiate a contracting discussion. May use client provided marketing materials as appropriate. + Send contracts to providers, negotiate rates within client provided negotiation range, manage other terms of the agreement. + Evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with client contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls. Negotiate rates within the client's provided negotiation range. + Submit completed contracts. Ensure that all necessary documentation and information are included in the completed contract packets. + Follow up with colleagues and clients when necessary to keep a contract moving forward. Capture Activities In the prospect record, the Associate Network Contractor will: + Enter detailed notes for every outreach that include the type of contact, a summary of the conversation/communications, and the date that the next outreach attempt is scheduled. + Capture and update the contract status as they flow through the contracting process, per client tracking processes. + Notate which contract template(s) have been sent to the provider. + Update provider demographics as appropriate. Provider Relations + Provide feedback from prospective and newly contracted providers to the client. + Perform problem analysis, identify solutions, and engage client stakeholders when necessary. + Inform provider of client's general credentialing process and requirements. + Escalate redlines when necessary. + Follow-up with client on redlines and other provider requests.
