Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our MedPharma team. The ideal candidate will work with ACA/Exchange, Medicare, and Medicaid patients, handling prior authorizations and performing initial and technical reviews for MedPharm.

ResponsibilitiesWork with ACA/Exchange, Medicare, and Medicaid patients.Handle prior authorizations.Perform initial and technical reviews for MedPharm.Engage in data entry and manage claims.Provide customer service and handle phone calls effectively.Control and redirect conversations as needed.Essential SkillsPharmacy technician certification (Cpht).Experience in pharmacy and managed care.Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.Ability to work independently and remotely.Strong customer service skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with appeals and prior authorizations.Ability to handle customer service over the phone.Managed care experience.Work Environment

This position is 100% remote and requires working in a closed-door setting with limited distractions and HIPAA compliance. A strong WIFI connection is necessary. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with availability between 8am-8pm, including rotating weekends. There might be a permanent Saturday shift. Weekend shifts are from 8am – 4:30pm or 9:30am – 6pm (EST). Candidates must be comfortable working weekends and holidays. Lunch breaks are between 30 minutes to an hour.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
