Job Description An educational institution is seeking a Cloud Data Platform Architect to join their team under the direction of the Data Warehouse ETL Manager. This individual will be supporting advanced IT architecture concepts and campus / medical center / OP or community-specific objectives to resolve highly complex issues with significant impact on the organization. The architect will be responsible for the implementation and administration of scalable, cloud-based data and analytics platforms across the UCI data ecosystem, leveraging a variety of DataOps, data warehousing and system administration methodologies and disciplines. Skills and Requirements 8+ years of experience as a hands-on architect Proficiency with cloud-based infrastructure as code solutions, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. Strong experience using AWS solutions such as S3, CloudFormation, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, SageMaker, and Athena. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, etc. Knowledge of cloud data storage solutions, such as blob storage, data lakes, data lake houses, and data warehouses.
