Remote Data Strategist (Marketing)
Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Data Strategist to join our team. This role is crucial in migrating a portfolio of campaigns to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and ensuring data is correctly positioned to support execution and measurement. The ideal candidate will lead discovery on business requirements and use cases, collaborating with product owners to achieve optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities:   Data Migration: Oversee the migration of campaign portfolios to SFMC, ensuring data is in the appropriate environment for execution and measurement.   Discovery and Requirements Gathering: Lead discovery sessions to understand business requirements and use cases, involving product owners as necessary.   Data Visualization and Documentation: Visualize and document data, conducting front-end analysis to empower marketers with accurate data.   Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research to translate data into user requirements, ensuring data feasibility for proposed ideas.   Collaboration: Work with the product platform team to execute campaigns, ensuring the right data is in place and determining the investments worth.   Data Flow Sign-Off: Review and approve data flow processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.   Guidance and Support: Guide and support business teams, BI teams, and technical teams on important projects in design, development, implementation, and management of databases and data flows.   Action Plans and Design: Translate business and technical requirements into workable action plans and designs.   Data Acquisition: Analyze the most efficient and reliable methods for acquiring data from multiple data sources, understanding how the data is stored, and determining how it can be added to build better models.   Database Architecture: Develop database architectures to address business requirements, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability. Database Applications: Design database applications such as interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, and data partitions to enable efficient access to the generic database structure. This is a contract to potential hire position that starts off at $60 per hour. Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners and platform teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Proficiency in Databricks UDAP and SQL queries. In-depth knowledge and expertise in database technologies, along with solid programming, design, and system analysis skills. Understanding of professional concepts, standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards in own work area.
