Job Description A major tire retailer in Bend, OR is looking to bring on a Database Administrator. This individual can sit remotely but must be able to travel to Bend, OR on a monthly basis (travel is covered). In this role, you will be responsible for SUPPORTING the migration of data from legacy iSeries systems to Azure, involving tasks such as data mapping, conversion, and manual data pushing. The ideal candidate will have extensive data migration experience, preferably with legacy iSeries data to the cloud, strong DBA and ETL experience, and the ability to work closely with technical teams and being a liaison between the vendor supporting the migration. This role also includes supporting functionality testing, providing post-live support, and effectively communicating with both technical and business stakeholders. Experience with iSeries and a background as a Business Systems Analyst are highly desirable. This individual should have a database mindset, be able to work under tight deadlines, and have excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
