Job Description Day to Day: A large water solutions manufacturing and engineering client of Insight Global is looking for a a highly skilled and motivated EDI Analyst to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring seamless electronic data interchange (EDI) operations across our supply chain and business processes. As an EDI Analyst, you will implement customer requirements, onboard trading partners, and drive continuous improvements to EDI systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and has a solid background in EDI within a manufacturing or similar environment. Primary Job Responsibilities:  Manage EDI operations across our organization, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange with trading partners.  Troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.  Collaborate with internal teams, IT staff, external vendors, and customers to address system needs and implement changes.  Lead onboarding efforts for new trading partners, including setup/ mapping, testing, and go-live support.  Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to enhance EDI understanding and efficiency.  Maintain documentation of EDI processes, standards, and troubleshooting guides.  Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and enhance EDI functionality accordingly.  Monitor EDI system performance, ensuring seamless transmission of documents such as invoices, ASNs, and purchase orders.  Define and track KPIs to measure and optimize EDI performance.  Manage EDI-related projects, including gathering requirements, documenting processes, allocating resources, and leading testing and implementation. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience with EDI operations/mapping, particularly in a manufacturing or supply chain environment. Strong knowledge of standard EDI document types such as 810, 812, 820, 850, 855, 856. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to address complex system issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers. Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A minimum of 5 years experience in EDI, project management and/ or operations.
