Job Description A large gaming and software company is looking for a Senior UX Designer specializing in Design Systems. This perfson will spearhead the strategy and execution of design systems that support a suite of products and services, including iconic games and groundbreaking platforms like Unreal Engine. Collaborating closely with the product and engineering teams, this person will leverage their expertise to enhance user experiences across the digital landscape by ensuring that the design systems are robust, scalable, and seamlessly integrated into the portfolio. In This Role, You Will: Partner with product leadership to shape and refine the vision for our cross-platform design systems, aligning them with strategic objectives. Work with multiple internal teams to gather requirements and design Figma-based solutions that will be developed by the engineering partners in the respective product technology (Unreal Engine UMG or React). Lead the creation of design components, guidelines, and specifications, ensuring consistency and intuitive user experiences across all user interfaces. Drive innovation within the design system to support product strategy and user engagement across various platforms Facilitate alignment and integration of the design system across various product teams, including desktop, web, mobile, console, and PC, promoting cross-team collaboration and efficiency. Collaborate with design leadership to standardize design processes, advocating for the adoption of the design system and promoting a culture of high quality and consistency. Skills and Requirements 7-10 Years experience in a fast paced graphics environment Demonstrated expertise in the development and management of design systems for a broad range of platforms, including but not limited to desktop, web, mobile, game consoles, and PCs. Experience in leveraging Unreal Engine for UI/UX design, particularly those who have utilized UMG for interface development. Expertise in Figma (leveraging all the technical affordances built into Figmas tool cache) Comprehensive understanding of design principles and the ability to oversee product experiences from concept through to delivery Skilled in using diverse communication tools to effectively convey design solutions, adapting your approach for different audiences. Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders. Adeptness at providing insightful feedback, engaging in constructive dialogues, and navigating complex discussions with professionalism and tact. Commitment to collaboration, actively working with teams to refine and enhance design quality within the design system. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across disciplines, with a track record of influencing organizational culture towards better design practices. Continuous drive for personal growth, with a keen interest in the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
