Job Description A government entity in Portland, OR is looking for a Remote Full Stack Web Developer to join their team. This resource will join a technical team supporting various applications for permitting, licensing and compliance usage. This team is currently in the process of transitioning to an Agile working model and it is imperative this resource has a strong background in DevOps Implementation to help lead this transition. Other responsibilities include: Develop and optimize web applications using Bootstrap, Java, JavaScript, and web services, while ensuring application security and collaborating with UI/UX designers. Implement DevOps best practices, automate CI/CD workflows, and modernize deployment processes. Support the transition to Scrum and Agile methodologies, and collaborate with teams using Jira for project tracking. Adopt GitHub for version control and source code management, and design RESTful APIs for Oracle databases and third-party platforms.
