This role will lead companywide shared services for the O&M network modeling toolset supporting continuous “Always On” assessment of the supply chain network. They will be the subject matter expert for the O&M network optimization modeling toolset with an expert knowledge of current capabilities as well as being able to develop plans for needed enhancements. The priority will be enabling analysis of complex supply chain solutions through a combination of understanding technical interfaces, modeling algorithms, supply chain experience, and analytical abilities.
Identifies innovative and creative business solutions to meet both internal and external customers’ applications needs. Educates internal and external customers on how business software applications systems can be leveraged for business value and growth.
Core Responsibilities
Drives operational efficiencies through oversight of continuous improvement/lean initiatives relating to business software applications systemsDesigns, develops, tests, and validates workflow and process controls with internal customersOwnership, administration, and point of contact for network modeling toolset.Define the integration and interface on a fixed and Ad Hoc basis of all the inputs needed to successfully drive the modeling engine in providing analysis.Map data requirements and maintain interface with multiple systems and data warehouses.Facilitates the definition of business process and system requirements for new technology initiatives.Standardize, create templates, and document methodologies to support complex supply chain analysis. Partners with cross-functional team in collaboration with the Network Optimization team such as inventory planning, DC Operations, commercial, manufacturing, and global transportation to develop supply chain scenarios and models.Trains and mentors teammates on applications functionality, operations, and formal continuous improvement methodologies through implementation and go-live processes. Provides continued application support after go-live.Qualifying Experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferably within a data science field3 years of experience creating analysis of supply chain network/footprint optimization with tools such as Coupa Llamasoft.10 years’ experience with a combination of the followingIntegrating operations technologiessupply chain operationsbusiness intelligenceProven ability to assess needs, identify issues, summarize, and present information/ recommendations and implement change.Solid analytical and quantitative skills; ability to effectuate return on investment required.Ability to review and analyze information from multiple sources.Ability to assess needs, identify issues, recommend alternatives, and implement change.Ability to work through ambiguity by gathering more data or seeking clarification.Strong ability and experience managing and performing multiple concurrent tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization.Ability to plan and coordinate completion of tasks in a multi-deadline environment.Ability to collaborate with others, make effective decisions, and negotiate well.Ability to demonstrate effective research, organization, and project management skills.Excellent PC skills with strong expertise in managing data via Excel, Access, Hyperion, Oracle OBIEE, Business ObjectsMust read, write, and speak English fluently.Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional areas with diverse backgroundsAbility to travel ~15% to Distribution Centers and Plants.No environmental hazards indicated for this classificationMust be able to work east coast hours.#LI-TR1
