Remote Project Manager III (Enterprise Risk)-10436

Description:

To plan, manage, and execute all aspects of the Enterprise Risk framework life-cycle projects from inception through implementation. Act as a subject matter expert with a focus on Enterprise Risk workstreams and practices. Implement and lead users to comply with best practices to ensure timely and effective program delivery and administration. Serve as coach/mentor to lower level staff and resolve issues. Monitor the activity and evaluate the Enterprise Risk program to identify opportunities to improve and enhance current and future processes. The ability to independently manage simultaneous programs and projects in a fast-paced environment and build productive relationships with management and project teams is essential.

Responsibilities:

Apply expert knowledge of best practices, trends, standards, requirements, and developments in content distribution technologies to formulate innovative ways to support Enterprise RiskWork on complex issues requiring in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Risk practicesEnsure effective management of projects from inception through implementationAnalyze overall program and channel effectiveness; identify and address areas of opportunity and make recommendationsIdentify, scope, document, coordinate, and implement business solution requirements in accordance with project goalsPrepare and present status reports, roadmaps, dashboards, and other presentations to management and executive leadershipDevelop action plans for conducting internal analyses and collaborate with business partners to identify root causes for operational gaps and establish solutionsPresent recommendations and project updates to executive leadershipProvide recommendations on communication strategiesManage complex initiatives or participate in portions of large/complex scoped projects with guidance from senior staff and/or managementMentor members of the team to ensure cooperation and consistent application of policies and proceduresDevelop, coach, and assist with leading training efforts of other team membersIdentify and minimizes project risks or constraints that would impact project deliverablesIdentify, communicates, and resolves branch/division/department areas of concern, or cross-organizational that may impede or impact other projects/initiativesMaintains/archives project documentationOversees project progress to ensure project documentation and schedules are in compliance with previously agreed requirements and standardsIdentify, escalates and/or resolves issues associated with project(s) ensuring deliverables conform to established quality and schedulesMonitor and controls risks to ensure timelines are met and project goals are attainedFacilitate project team and client meetings for the resolution of project issuesServe as primary point of contact for project management and related issues.Manage, executes, and communicates project plan, changes, direction, approach, and priorities based on changing business requirements, circumstances, new information and/or budget considerations to stakeholdersAssist in establishing team objectives and assignments, reviews work products, and provides timely feedback tostaff regarding performance; may provide input to team members’ performance appraisalsParticipates in developing, modifying, and executing department policies, standards, and processesPerforms other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance or related field or the equivalent combination of education,training, or experienceExtensive project management experience overseeing multiple, to include establishing and leading project teams; managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementationAdvanced knowledge of agile project management methodologies, and business requirements analysisWorking knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management concepts and practicesExtensive experience planning and strategizing at a senior level in Large/Enterprise level organizationsSignificant experience in organizational transformationAdvanced experience with workflow and program development; systems analysis and design; systems testing environments; and development of requirements documents, procedures and implementation plansDemonstrated skill directing and controlling project activities of a broad functional areaExpertise developing and managing relationships across business units and the organizationExtensive experience in leading, guiding, and mentoring others in a constantly changing and challenging environmentWorking knowledge of banking/financial industry trends, products and servicesWorking knowledge of market trends, business strategies and technology and their interrelationshipsEffective analytical thinking skills to include summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results or relationshipsExperience in leading, guiding, mentoring and training othersExperience in working with leadership and management in diverse and complex operational environmentsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsDemonstrated skill in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectivesProficiency project management software and tools such as AsanaPMP Certification (or commensurate experience managing corporate-wide projects) requiredDesired – Knowledge of systems and software used at Navy FederalDesired - NCCO, NCRM, or other applicable certificationDesired – Working knowledge of state and Federal laws; industry regulations, principles, and practices; and company policies that govern the business unit’s products/services
