We are currently seeking a SAP SD Consultant
REMOTE 100%
What You Will Do:
• Work as a senior member of the SAP Supply Chain Logistics value stream team to efficiently develop and execute plans to deliver results. • Under general direction, has duty of coordinating, directing, and checking the work of other members within the SAP Supply Chain Logistics team.
• Work closely with business users to identify and document functional and technical requirements.
• Develop complex requirements for process or system solutions within the business domain, based on given business requirements.
• Maintain expert product knowledge and use an analytical approach to find best practice solutions and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis for major issues.
• Provide analysis and hands-on support for system upgrades and technical improvements, coordinating with the development and technical teams.
• Collaborate with the business, other functional and technical teams (e.g., ABAP, SAP Security, SAP Basis, SAP DB support, etc.) to deliver business requests, resolve issues, perform the root cause analysis (RCA), tune and improve the system performance, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/related discipline and/or equivalent SAP certifications.
• 5 plus years of support, configuration, and testing experience in SAP modules that support the Supply Chain Logistics value stream with the core competencies listed below.
• SAP SD Competencies Required:
• Experience with a minimum of 2 full SAP implementations in the Supply Chain Logistics space, preferably at least 1 with S/4HANA.
• Experience of independently debugging ABAP codes to find solutions.
• Working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management methodologies.
• Experience working on multiple projects and meeting project goals on time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain critical thinking while balancing multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well within a team, focusing on building relationships with all project stakeholders.
• Proven ability to learn new skills, technologies, and is passion for conveying knowledge.
• Understand business needs, build strategic partnerships, and document and implement software solutions.
• Experience with pricing, IDOCs, and Integrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience directly within a large ERP systems footprint in a global, multinational environment in the “Chemical Manufacturing / Process“ industry. • Experience managing relationships with 3rd party vendors and teams.
• Able to successfully manage core responsibilities independently or with limited oversight.
• Ability to maintain critical thinking while balancing multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well within a team, focusing on building relationships with all project stakeholders.
