REMOTE Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 15-20 years of experience. Candidates must have Professional Engineer (PE) license, as they will be responsible for stamping drawings. This company supports healthcare, hyperscale data center, science & technology, higher education, K-12, civic, industrial, and other markets. This position is available immediately, but we are also open to candidates who can start in March. Revit experience is a plus but not required. No leadership experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Oversee and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget, and timelineDesign and Analysis: Develop and review detailed electrical designs, including lighting and power, using software like AutoCAD and RevitCoordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and construction teams to ensure integrated and efficient designsQuality Assurance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as ASHRAE standards and local building codesMentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and educational work environmentClient Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldExperience: Extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in commercial design, with a proven track record of leading projectsSkills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit (Revit is a plus but not required), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilitiesCertifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a must

Work Environment:

You must reside in Colorado. This role may involve traveling to site visits.

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $72.00/hr.
