Position Overview: The Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, documenting, and testing software for Actalent's iOS-based products and support tools. This role involves all phases of project development, including planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Daily tasks will include software development using Objective-C and Swift for the iOS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement features and resolve bugs from a prioritized backlog shared by the team.Collaborate closely with the product team to provide input on overall product design.Create and maintain support tools critical to the department's reliability and efficiency.Stay updated on recent developments and trends in the software field.Assist in porting an existing Objective-C project to Swift.

Qualifications:

Required:

A./B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.2+ years of experience with iOS development tools and frameworks.

Preferred:

5+ years of experience with iOS development tools and frameworks.3+ years of experience with Swift.2+ years of experience with Objective-C.
