Are you passionate about serving our patients with Love and Excellence? If so, consider applying for the Registered Nurse, Renal Transplant Coordinator position with ChristianaCare at our Kidney Transplant Program Practice located at MAP 2 on our Newark, DE campus.

The Kidney Transplant Program at ChristianaCare offers the only adult kidney transplant program in Delaware and is looking for a Renal Transplant Coordinator to join their team. The care provided encompasses kidney transplant education, evaluation, waitlist management, and after transplant care, as well as living donation. The team is multidisciplinary in nature, including transplant surgeons, transplant nephrologists, nurses, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, financial coordinators, medical assistants and office support.

HighlightsAct as a liaison between the transplant program and dialysis and / or nephrology facilitiesMonitor and follow all pre- and post-transplant diagnostic studiesAssure performance of necessary tests and studies to determine patients' candidacy for transplant

Work Schedule

Full-time day shift with call rotation for after hours, weekend and holiday coverage.

Education and Experience Requirements

B.S. or BSN required, MSN preferredCritical Care experience preferred.Minimum of 5 years of related experience in healthcare, organ transplant experience preferred.RN license in the state of DE required

Certification by the American Board of Transplant Coordinators (CCTC) if/when mandated by future legislative mandate.
