**Description** Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at our rendering facility. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in all common and administrative areas to support a safe and clean work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and follows strict hygiene and sanitation protocols. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and common areas. Remove waste and dispose of trash in designated areas according to facility protocols. Mop, sweep, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility. Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue Clean walls, doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces. Monitor and report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly. Support cleaning during inspections, audits, and emergency response situations. Ensure sufficient inventory levels for all required supplies Qualifications: Prior janitorial, sanitation, or industrial cleaning experience is strongly preferred. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs). Comfortable working around industrial equipment and strong odors. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Must follow all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. Work Environment: Exposure to noise, odors, steam, hot and cold temperatures, and potentially slippery surfaces.
