Responsibilities:
Monitor project costs and coordinates billing to initiate the invoicing processMeet with customers, contractors, engineers, owners, and Ziegler Sales staff to discuss project requirements and logisticsAssume responsibility of job execution beginning from the point the customer PO is received until the project is accepted by the ownerOrder and obtain pricing for all necessary Caterpillar and non-caterpillar equipment and/or materials from suppliers, coordinating their timely release and deliveryWork closely with senior level technical staff of Ziegler customers and contractorsCoordinate delivery of equipment to job siteLead Ziegler Power Systems projects through development and communication of schedulesCoordinate start-up procedures and documentation with contractors, engineers, customers, owners, utility company, sales staff and service techniciansAssemble Technical Submittal informationAssemble Operation and Maintenance documentation and other submittals as requiredAssist the sales department in bid preparation and pre-submittals and initial project budgetingCoordinate Ziegler shop-buildupCoordinate with lead sales engineer to facilitate the design of specific design / build projects, requiring the management of outside resources to bring projects in on time and within the budget constraints on the projectSummarize project status through department meetings and reportsDocument key strategies to reduce cost and increase gross profit on projectsMentor and support the development of other project managers and new sales engineersWork in a cooperative manner with team and superiorsQualifications:
4 year Bachelor’s degree or 2-yr. College degree with related experience10+ years of project management experience requiredPMP certification required; or ability to obtain within one yearElectrical Power, Electrician, Generator or Reciprocating Engine experience requiredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe AcrobatStrong electrical and mechanical aptitudeExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to read, interpret and understand plans, blueprint specifications, electrical and construction contractsPersonal Attributes: Commitment/Dependability, Customer Focus, Leadership Orientation, Attention to Detail, Problem Solving, Self-ConfidenceTravel:

The pay range for this position is
