Position Summary:

The Renewables Feedstock Trading team, part of Renewables & Low Carbon Management, is responsible for sourcing and trading feedstocks across our value chain. We are looking for a motivated, entry-level Trader to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a commercially driven individual who excels in a highly collaborative environment, is organized, and is passionate about renewable markets. You will play a key role in sourcing, trading, and optimizing renewable feedstocks while working closely with both internal teams and external partners to maximize commercial opportunities.

 Job Responsibilities: 

Canvas prospective suppliers, primarily tallow and used cooking oil, to make initial contact and/or begin buying direct. Establish and maintain working relationships with counterparts, primarily those with whom initial contact has been minimal.Guide new counterparts through the onboarding process, including completing the know-your-customer (KYC) packet, coordinating sample submissions, and ensuring accurate setup in internal systems.Execute deals within defined LOA while maintaining alignment with Domestic Tallow & UCO trader to secure feedstocks for system.Support communications and position management with the Martinez Renewables JV.Develop expertise around feedstock logistics.  Lead justification for proposed logistics solutions working with scheduling for execution. Manage subscription list for suppliers and work with subscriptions group for renewals.Manage trade memberships (AFOA, NIOP, NARA).

Education and Experience: 

Bachelors degree required.4 years of industry experience required; Commercial/Marketing background preferred.Functional knowledge of Right Angle preferred.
