Renewals Team Lead
Description

Responsibilities:Lead the Renewal Team in following and innovating global methodology and best practices, ensuring proper use of the Salesforce system.Provide ongoing mentorship to Renewal Representatives, teaching techniques for increasing ARR, identifying risks, and successful negotiations, while maintaining direct communication with customers.Adopt a hands-on approach, including renewal call activity, direct customer communication, leading renewal sales strategy calls, and identifying risks.Align with Global Renewal leadership to innovate and implement strategies to reach company goals.Assess skill sets and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to meet objectives, reinforce renewal methodologies, and guide career path direction.Identify areas where the team needs assistance or where the territory needs growth, and participate in recruiting and interviewing activities.Guide Renewal Team members in managing key internal relationships to promote renewal goals and contribute to company growth.Actively involved in all critical deals and consistently works with Renewal Representatives across various accounts to understand the current selling environment.Requirements:4+ years of experience in a similar role.Proven history of successfully leading a renewal team that drives target attainment.Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college/university.Ability to teach methods for identifying new and existing opportunities through basic consultative selling methodology.Strong negotiation skills to handle contract renewals and address customer objections effectively.Knowledge of managing CRM and opportunity management systems.Strong understanding of the renewal process and best practices for customer retention.Ability to drive operational excellence, leveraging data and efficient decision-making to ensure on-time renewals.Must be able to lead a team and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quota requirements.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a pleasant and professional attitude. Competencies:To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:   Organized: Manage multiple regions, including accounts and projects efficiently, ensuring all renewal processes are streamlined, deadlines are met, and global processes are followed.Problem Solver: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the renewal process, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.Critical Thinker: Analyze data and trends to develop strategies that enhance renewal rates and overall team performance.Detail-Oriented: Meticulously review contracts and renewal terms to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.Highly Motivated: Drive your team to achieve and exceed targets, fostering a high-performance culture.Strong Communication: Effectively communicate with clients and internal teams, ensuring clear understanding and collaboration.
