Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park experience, and a world class Nordic Center.
Job Summary/Overview:
This position is for high school students ages 15-17. A rental attendant is the first point of contact the customer visits within our shops. Providing a positive and helpful guest interaction is the top priority. Outfitting guests to select gear based off guest measurements, ability level and conditions are a primary job function. This ensures a great experience on the slopes! Our rental shop provides ski and snowboard equipment for many ability types. As a rental attendant, it is important to retain product knowledge to best gear up our customers for the slopes and uphold proper boot fitting techniques. An ideal applicant for this position would have experience with customer service in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, organization, and communication.
The successful candidate:
Ensures a positive customer service experience and provides premium guest service.
Promote all Eldora rental products, policies, and procedures.
Helps facilitate organization of incoming and outgoing rental customers.
Ensures proper fit to select rental equipment and provides a seamless experience in the rental shop.
Previous customer service experience required.
Performs daily cleaning and organizational activities.
Must have experience in a fast-paced customer service or hospitality environment.
Upholds safety standards and practices safe working habits.
Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds.
Arrives to work on time and follows schedule.
Adheres to all grooming guidelines.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Follows established policies and procedures and is supportive of the company’s core values.

Basic Requirements:
General knowledge of the outdoor Industry and associated products. ·

Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $16+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
