Job Description To provide a unique experience by offering Segway tours, Bike rentals, and Island Hopper rentals. Responsibilities Essential Functions: o Work in Amelia's Wheels by providing guest assistance including but not limited to: providing guests with property information, on property directions, providing rentals of Bicycles, Island Hoppers, and leading Segway tourso Book and Manage reservations for Segway tours using Xolao Book and Manage reservations for Island Hopper reservations using Bike Rental Management softwareo Able to ride a Segway and become a certified instructor to lead property Segway tours within 60 days of hireo Be familiar with Omni Amelia Island bike trail s and tour routeso communication with associates and guestso Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities, Omni outlets, and company events.o Attend and participate in Amelia's Wheels' meetings and monthly All Together Get Togethero Assist with routine cleaning of Amelia's Wheels and of equipment (e.g. sweeping, emptying trash, picking up, organizing and inventory) (e.g. cleaning Segways, Island Hoppers and Bicycles)o Ensure all bicycles, Island Hoppers, and Segways are clean, safe and act immediately with any concernso Knowledge of basic bike, island hopper, and Segway maintenance and repairso Daily maintenance of all Amelia's Wheels Bicycles, Island Hoppers and Segwayso Be knowledgeable of Omni's cultureo Cross Utilizationo Assist in all other aspects of the recreation department as needed to include but not limited to: group functions, events, Nature Center, Pool/Beach, Camp Amelia, Heron’s Cove mini-golf, Health and Fitness, and Tennis operationso Work holiday events and special programs as schedule Hotel Specific Functions: o Maintain standards of guest services and consistent positive guest experience as documented by J.D.
