The Rental Coordinator is responsible for managing rental requests, coordinating equipment availability and delivery schedules, and providing knowledgeable support to both contractors and homeowners. By balancing strong organizational skills with excellent customer service, the Rental Coordinator helps keep projects running smoothly while representing the company’s commitment to reliability and community-focused service.

Why You Want This Position: Competitive Wage: $24 to $30/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Eligible candidates can take advantage of a housing stipend, lodging in Big Sky at $650 to $800/month Benefits: 1 week of PTO after one year, 2 weeks after two years, and 3 weeks after five years Be part of a locally owned company that values community and personalized service Enjoy variety in your day-to-day work, from coordinating schedules to helping customers find the right tools
Essential Functions and Duties: Greet customers, answer inquiries, and guide them in selecting the right equipment for their projects Manage rental contracts, process paperwork, and maintain accurate records of all transactions Coordinate scheduling for equipment pick-up, delivery, and returns to ensure efficiency Monitor inventory levels, track equipment availability, and assist with maintenance scheduling Communicate with drivers, technicians, and customers to keep projects on track Provide clear instructions on equipment use, safety guidelines, and rental policies Assist with billing, payment collection, and resolving customer concerns in a professional manner
Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, construction, dispatching, or heavy equipment operations preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working with scheduling systems, rental software, or similar office technology Knowledge of construction equipment or mechanical aptitude is a plus, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
