The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a Rental Coordinator to join our team as a member of our growing Suppy Chain and Logistics division. In this role, you be responsible for managing all rental requests nationwide for McKinstry. The person in this role will exhibit excellent customer service when working with a wide range of customers. If you are someone who takes initiative, is an excellent communicator, and has experience working in the supply chain field then this may be the role for you.

You're great at:

Communication

Process rental requests received via phone, email, or face-to-face.   Work with field crew to rent third party equipment and arrange for their timely delivery.  May prequalify and develop suppliers, considering performance history.  May prepare bidder lists, qualify bidders, prepare requests for quotation, and conduct bid evaluations  Place orders with vendors as required.  Price purchase orders at creation or from documents received from suppliers.  

Customer Service

Recognize Field & Project teams as internal customers.  Engage with them in a positive, customer-focused manner. Escalate Equipment Requisitions to Purchasing Agents or Purchasing Manager. Use judgment to escalate potential problems to Purchasing Agents or Purchasing Manager in a timely manner. 

·    Own transactions from creation through completion with thorough follow-up practices. 

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills including a high degree of attention to detail required.  Operates office equipment such as telephones, calculators, computers, copy and fax machines required.  Advanced understanding of MS Outlook and Excel Software required. Experience in the construction environment is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $24.36 - $39.28 per hour; however, base pay offered my vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
