Rental General Sales Manager

Your contributions will not only make a significant impact on our company but also pave the way for the advancement of your own career.  What You Will Do in This Role: Develop and establish a culture that prioritizes safety, customer satisfaction, and employee development in alignment with the Foley MVPs. Develop and implement short and long-term strategies and structures to profitably grow market share.  Regularly identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the market, specifically with competitors. Identify and exploit new market opportunities.  Set and manage annual objectives including budgets, goals, headcount, fleet inventories, capital expenditure requests, and marketing.  Build a rapport with senior leaders, align priorities, and achieve shared goals. Oversee rental operations consistency and customer experience at multiple locations by directing the development and implementation of rental coordination and rental sales policies.  Manage rental manager performance on various aspects, including employee behaviors, attitude, technique, territory, opportunity coverage, profitability, sales volume, new account generation, CRM use, and overall performance. Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.  Our Ideal Candidate: Minimum of 3 years prior management experience. Experience with profit and loss responsibility. Strong knowledge of the construction industry. Demonstrated ability to positively motivate and manage others, creating a high-performing team. Exceptional customer relations and communication skills, ensuring outstanding service and satisfaction. Strong computer skills.  What Will Put You Ahead: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred Prefer experience in heavy equipment sales management or rental sales management. Familiarity with rental equipment market, its uses, and industry needs.   Prior experience managing multiple locations across an assigned territory.  What We Can Offer You: Competitive pay to recognize your valuable contribution 401(k) with matching Full insurance benefits Health insurance benefits starting day one of employment for full-time employees Holiday, PTO, and Parental Leave, promoting work-life balance and personal growth   Foley Industries – Foley Equipment, Foley Power Solutions, Foley Rental, and SITECH Central – proudly stands at the forefront of progress, serving customers in Kansas and Western Missouri for over nine decades.
