Summary
The Rental Inbound/Outbound Associate role is responsible for exercising sound judgment to make decisions regarding the Rental department workflow. The role is responsible for the customer service functions for the location’s rental department. This position is located in our Humble, TX location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Coordinates all inbound and outbound movement of equipment for all Utility Fleet divisions, including:
o Attending daily production meetings to be aware of status of sold vehicles;
o Communicating status to others as necessary to achieve organizational goals.
• Ensure effective operations and profitable performance, including:
o Streamlining operations with a focus on reducing paperwork generation;
o Coordinating current technology assets to ensure effective operations; and
• Maintain client relations with client agents, brokers, vendors, and other third parties that ensures a positive company image.
• Coordinate the administrative functions for the Rental business to ensure organizational goals are met.
• Effectively administer and control workflow of contracts, along with ancillary documents, on equipment for the Rental and Sales Departments to ensure clients timely receive and execute all necessary agreements with ancillary documents.
• Coordinate the administrative processes and paperwork necessary to ensure timely resolution of issues related to rental and sales agreements so organizational goals are met.
• Professionally communicate with clients on an ongoing basis to ensure rental and sales processes are effectively managed.
• Effectively communicate with various team members to coordinate the post agreement activities for the rental and sales departments.
• Effectively communicate within rental and sales department on inventory status to ensure equipment is available to fulfill rental and sales agreements.
• Effectively communicate with across departments--including but not limited to parts, mechanics shop, and accounting--on inventory status to ensure equipment is available to fulfill rental and sales agreements.
• Process equipment check in and check out to ensure organizational goals are met.
• Aid in delivery or pick up of equipment as needed.
• Quick fix of deficiencies- if something can be fixed in an hour or less.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience
• Education - Relevant college degree (bachelor’s degree or higher) or 2+ years proven experience.
• Licensing – Class A CDL with clean driving record.

• Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
