A Hersheypark Rentals Lead maintains accountability for assigned location(s), including Wheelchair Rentals and Stroller Rentals. This position works in a team environment with other Wheelchair Rental and Stroller Rental Associates and Leads.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Conduct location team shift meetings with employees, peers, and supervisors*
Maintain a clean work area, including preparing and sweeping queue areas and work stations, ensuring walkways/paths are free of debris, and removing trash when necessary*
Communicate with supervisor(s) regarding staffing needs. Coordinate team member break schedules and ensure compliance with Child Labor Laws*
Complete employee training at Wheelchair Rentals and Stroller Rentals locations as necessary by providing supervision and support to the Guest Experience team and coaching employees when needed
Adhere to Guest Experience standard operating procedures; proficient in Wheelchair Rentals and Stroller Rentals positions. Ensure the Guest Experience team is operating in a safe and efficient manner and enforce safety guidelines*
Maintain, complete, and audit proper documentation, including opening/closing checklists, training checklists, Rental contracts, guest rental information and Electronic Convenience Vehicle (ECV) breakdown logs, cashier reconciliation reports, update communication logs, and track inventory*
Provide our guests with exceptional guest service, resolving all guest inquiries in a timely matter (including collaborating with other departments, when needed), and adhering to department and company service expectations*
Initiate positive guest interactions; maintain a thorough working knowledge of Hersheypark guest programs, including the Attraction Accessibility Program.
Participate in department leadership programs, including: attending leadership development courses, trainings, and team meetings*
Work on a computer-based Point of Sale system while adhering to cash handling procedures
Communicate and work with other departments effectively to ensure the best possible experience for our guests
Assist in other areas of the Guest Experience Department as needed, including the Front Gate
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications, must be comfortable with the use of electronic equipment and digital sales software
Must have the ability to effectively communicate nonverbally, verbally and in writing, including delivering instructions/directions, and speaking clearly on radios and phones
Must display a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, and a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information

Job Demands:
This job requires the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances (computer screens, printed papers)
Ability to work a flexible schedule including, days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Must attend required hours of leadership development training
Must be able to work 3 days per week throughout the peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) to include a rotation of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, and the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level and lift up to sixty (60) pounds without assistance
