Overview:
The Operations Coordinator (Regular and Extended Hour shifts), will support the customers and manager in executing day-to-day activities relevant to current assignments.
The Operations Coordinator will collaborate closely with customers, carriers, and internal groups, ensuring compliance with logistics requirements are met in order to achieve high operations and customer service excellence. This role may require extended availability to take emergency calls on some evenings, nights, and weekends.

Execute day-to-day operational activities according to requirements and KPI to obtain high customer satisfactionReview shipments to determine appropriate transportation mode to meet the customers shipping and delivery requirements, select the most cost effective and service reliable carrierTimely and accurate entry of events troubleshooting any issue that arise.Complete daily logs and trackersProvide out of office availability to assist emergency calls on some evenings, nights, and weekends,Customer Service
Coordinates with carriers to ensure on-time delivery by tracking trucks for pick-up, estimating times of arrival and delivery, and recovering loads when necessaryRespond to customer inquiries with detailed updates by email, phoneQualifying Customers and CarriersAssist with handle rate negotiations with carriers on a spot rate basisJoin calls with internal teams, customers, build rapport, strengthen business relationshipImplement new process/procedures based on customer request/requirementGeneral Education
General Experience - Preferred (2 years) sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
The typical starting salary range for this position is $40,250 - $48,000.
The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
