The Opportunity: The Sales Representative is responsible for successfully managing existing customer accounts and establishing new opportunities to achieve annual sales objectives. This involves managing current customer relationships, prospecting, and engaging new customers, partnering with management to complete budget planning, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure sales strategy execution.

Thoroughly understand the industry and target customers to qualify opportunities in alignment with WestRock sales strategyDevelop and maintain thorough knowledge of WestRock products and pricing structure to resolve inquiries and issues with customer accountsEffectively articulate sales vision and strategy to identify leads on new opportunities, manage prospects and develop a robust sales pipelineMeet or exceed individual budgeted and volume sales goals to contribute to the organization’s annual targets objectivesDevelop and execute account strategies for new and existing customers to create a customized experience for customersManage and resolve customer inquiries related to pricing, product availability, and order fulfillment activitiesUtilize Salesforce.com to establish and manage customer Service Level Execution Agreement (SLEA) and payment termsComplete scheduled and cold-call prospecting activities to create appointments with client decision makersPrepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makersSeek and qualify prospective customers in accordance with Sales strategyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of the overall Sales strategy and identify value add opportunities to improve marginsManage customer engagement through the sales lifecycle to ensure contractual obligations are met and to enable customer satisfaction
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field preferred2 to 3 years of experience interfacing with customers in a sales related field environment requiredBusiness to Business (B2B) sales experienceExperience using the Salesforce.com applicationMicrosoft Office – Excel, OutlookWestRock is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The salary range for this position is $46,875.00 - $78,125.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
