Opportunity Summary:
We seek a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to focus on distributors, brand owners, and printer relationships in the commercial print market. This position is ideal for a candidate with experience in paperboard sales, printing, or packaging industries who is eager to develop strong relationships with clients, expand market share, and drive revenue growth.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Identify and target potential commercial printing and packaging customers, focusing on paperboard needs for packaging, folding cartons, and printed materials.Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.Conduct in-depth consultations with customers to understand their specific needs and provide tailored paperboard solutions.Present product options, including specifications, pricing, and value propositions, to prospective clients.Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of paperboard products and manage inventory levels.Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals while maintaining competitive margins.Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and client meetings to stay current on market developments and build your professional network.Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets consistently.
What you need to succeed:
2-5+ years of business-to-business (B2B) Sales experience (Manufacturing/service industry preferred) with a demonstrated ability to close deals and expand customer accounts.Familiarity with the commercial printing or packaging industries is a plus.Strong skills in sales execution, pipeline management, and influencing cross-functional teams.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently, manage a remote work schedule, and handle a regional territory.Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to understand and solve client challenges.Willingness to travel regularly for client visits, trade shows, and industry events.Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPointExperience with Salesforce.comReporting tools such as Power BI, QlikView
