At EVIDENT, we help make people’s lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling, every day. **_Let’s inspire healthier lives, together._** **Job Description** Work Location - Remote in Seattle, WA The Microscopy Sales Representative functions as a resource for the customers and identifies customer needs based upon detailed discussions. Using product and application knowledge, the Representative provides solutions to meet the customers' needs, installs and trains customers using Evident equipment purchased. **Job Duties** • Provide the customers with demonstration and application notes in order to address all needs and promote a complete solution. • Meet sales targets in the growing research microscopy and digital imaging marketplace. • Work with the following as appropriate: sales representatives and marketing personnel, dealers, and independent customers to meet sales targets. • Prepare quotations for customers to include detailed software and digital imaging specifications. • Attend trade and local shows as assigned. • Work with Specialists to plan and conduct major presentations to explain theory and use of software and imaging products for high-end researchers. • Develop an understanding of the key accounts in the territory. • Develop relationships with leading researchers in the territory in order to enhance the reputation of Evident in this market. • Attend advanced technical and sales training sessions. • Maintain, manage, and be accountable for sample account. • Provide Sales Manager with weekly call reports via entries into CRM Calendar and weekly update of CRM open opportunities. • Work to develop Evident specifications for bids. • Develop proficiency with Salesforce to generate Opportunities, Quotes and search for various data. • Develop proficiency with administrative tools to include Outlook, Concur, SAP, LMS etc. • Develop proficiency with Salesforce Calendar and time management skills. • Develop proficiency with Elton inventory control software. **Job Requirements** Education: • Bachelor of Science Degree (Biomedical / Life Sciences or Technical Science) required. • Master's Degree / Ph.D. preferred. Experience: • 1+ year as Trainee or 1-2+ years for non-trainee Sales experience or 1-2+ years of related product management and sales support required. Skills: • Strong interpersonal communications and computer skills are necessary. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Sales Experience in Life Science or related technical industry; Capital Equipment Sales preferred. Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.): • Must be willing to travel. A valid driver's license, safe driving record, and personal vehicle are required.
