Job Title: Repair and Overhaul Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Repair and Overhaul Technician for a 2nd shift position, with the flexibility to train on 1st or 2nd shift. This role involves performing maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the latest technical data from manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, and other approved industry and government standards.
ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, repair, and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with approved documentation.Conduct preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections on civil aviation articles as per the latest technical data.Utilize assembly tools, equipment, and mechanical and visual aids relevant to the scope of work.Apply and handle sealants and adhesives.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Participate in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude.Experience with hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Skills in electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly.Knowledge of inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.Experience in electrical and electronics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a cleanroom environment.Strong diagnosis and service skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is based in a repair station, working on the 2nd shift with training on either 1st or 2nd shift. The role involves using various hand and power tools, working with mechanical and electrical components, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Participation in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program is required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
