The Repair Center Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the Repair Center (REP). The primary focus is on the seamless progression of Repair Center projects from quotation to billing, utilizing the key tools of Metso Repair Center including Salesforce and SAP. The position is the key to Repair Center operations. This position ensures the proper recording, reporting, and analysis of all Repairs sales/service orders and projects in accordance with company policies and reporting procedures.
In this position, you will report to the Business Operations Manager, Repairs.
This position is mainly located in Mesa, AZ and we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options; however, this position may involve up to 10% of travel, if needed.
What you’ll do
Responsible for the profitable execution of repair service contracts. Repair service reporting including KPI’s and repair service summary reports. Lead post-mortem project analysis to ensure current and future quote accuracy, process compliance and profitability. Work directly with Repair Center leadership team to execute work timely and on budget. Responsible to manage lessons learned, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders. Enter purchase orders into SAP Business System and perform all required SAP functions including purchase requisitions, invoices, cost runs, and closeout procedures. Load cost estimates, hours, equipment, and consumables into SAP for each order Analyze monthly results like net sales, cost, and margin on projects. Coordinate, prepare, and submit accurate internal financial project reports, (monthly, quarterly, and annually). Actively participate in weekly project management reviews. Educate and train project management team on financial procedure related to project via presentations both group and individually. Review and provide financial assistance and guidance on new and active projects related to equipment, warranty, and SAP input per Metso policy. Proactive communicator to all stakeholders. Problem solving mindset and seeking opportunities to simplify current procedures. Coordinating and expediting timely freight movements from warehouse and supplies to repair facilities. Facilitate specialized training as needed for development of REP employees. Other duties, as assigned
Who you are
College degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree. 2+ years’ previous office or administrative experience strongly preferred. Ability to act as an SAP lead for all sales / service orders and projects. Ability to challenge other stakeholders. Understanding of project accounting. Strategic and analytical thinking. Ability to influence and lead change. Understanding of compliance issues and policies. Understanding of management reporting requirements Prior working experience with SAP ERP is an advantage. Good command of Excel. Ability to work across multiple disciplines and departments. Superior English language skills – ability to write technical descriptions.
