What You Will Do
As a Service Technician at Trimble you'll play a vital role in testing, maintaining, and offering technical support for Trimble products across diverse distribution channels and customers. Your responsibilities encompass in-house servicing, repairs, and diagnostics of mechanical, hardware, software, and systems issues following established protocols. You'll also conduct essential maintenance, testing, and calibration of the mended products. Leveraging your expertise, you'll prepare detailed reports to analyze trends in product failures and service-related matters, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our offerings.
Complete repairs of Trimble products within established repair times
Act as a liaison between engineers, data architects, programmers, and analysts
Perform technical administration duties for data warehouse development and maintenance
Gather data and conduct analysis with the goal of improving the business areas
Correct transactional/physical movement of products
Read, comprehend, and follow repair instructions, service guidelines, and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Technical degree or additional years of equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing electromechanical devices, or other relevant experience
Familiar with basic electronic theory and electronic test equipment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Capable of understanding and following written guidelines and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products
