Repair Development Manufacturing Engineer
**Job Description Summary** Provide support for repair development and industrialization. Process ownership responsible for analyzing process performances and developing/implementing continuous improvement actions. This role will collaborate across Manufactuhering, Design, and Operations Engineering across multiple bands located globally. This role will work cross functionally with programs, business development, and operations leadership. Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment while maintaining compliance to established policies. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work meeting standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.). **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Act seamlessly as Manufacturing Engineer in areas of assignment and/or responsibility. + Support development of repair/inspection technologies, process qualification, and industrialization. + Fast paced, hands on, highly diversified role with the ability to flex in and outside traditional engineering scope to support business needs. + Estimate cost and timing for business development, process development, and product development. + Support products from CF6 to LEAP engine platforms and most commercial platforms between. Leverage practices from similar product as well as develop new techniques + Uses high level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve low to medium level complexity tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. + Support business level initiatives with minimal guidance on cross functional teams. + Support projects within business which impact SQDC. ​ **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing experience) **Desired Characteristics** + Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed ​ + Transparent: Ability to share critical information, communicate candidly, and to contribute constructively. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn​ + Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker _This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
