Repair & Maintenance Specialist I - Drilling Service
**Job Overview** As R&M Specialist I is responsible repair and maintenance of field tools, the R&M Specialist role performs preventive & corrective maintenance, retrofit and upgrade to electronic, mechanic, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, data acquisition systems, downhole tools & communication equipment. The role performs these tasks using Company guidelines, technical work instructions, test procedures, schematics, engineering notices, and best practices to complete the scope of functions where required under the direction and supervision of a senior R&M Specialist, Lead Specialist or Supervisor. As the senior R&M Specialist, the employee will lead and oversee these tasks carried out by other R&M employees. While this is a generic job description covering the different levels of the R&M Specialist position, all aspects of the roles and responsibilities are relevant. **Responsibilities:** + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling field tools and equipment. + Ensure all repairs are completed to industry standards and within specified timelines. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. + Assist in inventory management of drilling equipment and spare parts. + Collaborate with the supply chain team to procure necessary components + Participates in all daily operations & safety meetings, toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and reports any issues promptly using the appropriate tools + Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment **Skills:** + Works well within a team environment. + Proven ability to function well under pressure. + Intermediate/Advanced Excel & Word skills + Eagerness to learn and challenge existing processes. + Exceptional attention to detail + Excellent communication, organization, analytical, troubleshooting and teamwork skills. + Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation **Qualifications:** + High Diploma with relevant experience + 0-2 Years of experience in Oil & Gas industry + Good English communication skills an basic Computer Skills \#LI-MD1 Weatherford is a leading global energy services company.
