**Role:** Reporter, Dow Jones Risk & Compliance Journal
Dow Jones Risk Journal seeks an experienced reporter to cover global risk, compliance, and regulatory issues affecting companies and financial institutions. This role requires a journalist eager to explore topics such as sanctions, anti-corruption, financial crime, cybersecurity, regulatory intelligence, and geopolitical and economic risks.
The reporter will write daily stories, in-depth features, and contribute to the WSJ Morning Risk Report newsletter, serving an audience of risk, compliance, and legal professionals. The ideal candidate will develop sources, break news, provide insightful analysis, and translate complex topics into actionable intelligence for business and financial professionals.
Candidates should be comfortable moderating live interviews, making media appearances, and leveraging visuals and data to enhance storytelling. Experience covering corporate governance, compliance, or related topics is preferred.
This position is based our of our New York City office.
**You Will:**
+ Cultivate sources and break news, delivering scoops and analysis that separate your work from the pack
+ Cover breaking news developments and deliver analysis that provides actionable context
+ Conceptualize and deliver high-impact enterprise stories
+ Be a part of an ambitious newsroom with a can-do, startup culture
+ Uphold the standards, ethics and integrity of a Dow Jones journalist
**You Have:**
+ 5+ years of reporting experience
+ The skills and instincts to jump on news, writing quickly and cleanly
+ The flexibility to take on a range of topics across a broad geography
+ Relevant subject matter expertise and an eagerness to learn
+ A track record of dominating a beat, setting the agenda and informing readers
+ A demonstrated ability to report out high-impact stories

Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000
