WJW-TV, Fox 8 in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a reporter to support our top-rated newscasts committed to serving Northeast, Ohio.  Successful candidate excels in storytelling on all platforms, , can receive feedback and models professionalism on and off the air.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accurate reporting of news stories Attend editorial meetings and regularly pitch original story ideas Develops community contacts and a network of news sourcesMust be able to ad-lib live breaking news by telling a compelling story and have a strong ability to interact with anchors in studioWorks with the photographer, producers, desk, managers in the development of a storyRegularly updates newsroom on story elements and progress Use social media to update news stories to the publicAttend station partnerships in the community

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

B.A. or B.S. Degree preferably in journalism or communication or equivalent related experiencePrefer 3-5 years TV news reporting in a medium to large market

Salary ranges based on experience. $65-75k
