Job Description:
Main Accountabilities:
Responsible for analyzing data from numerous systems to create reporting tailored for the business. Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports, analyzing and reporting on ad-hoc requests, whilst creating and maintaining operational dashboards within agreed timelinesCollecting and interpreting data, developing and maintaining databases, filtering data, correcting code issues, preparing business reportsUnderstand business requirements and translate into reporting requirementsDevelop operational performance reports and dashboards to give an operational overview - reporting on SLAs, KPIs, CIs, Savings and other functional metricsDevelop and maintain MIS applications developed in MS Excel/ MS AccessTeam up with Tableau developers to fetch/provide required data inputsIdentify process improvement areas and develop the solutionsWork as a data custodian & SME for operational reportingManage stakeholders and fulfill their expectations.Education and Experience
Minimum graduate degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalentExpertise in visual analytics and design principles5+ years of experience in:MS Excel including Lookups, Pivot tables, Power Query/Power Pivot and macro codingMS AccessMS Power Point /MS Excel ReportingProven experience in automating reporting processesWorking in an agile development environment including rapid prototyping during sprintCompetencies
Advanced excel experience including V Lookups, Pivot tables, Charts, Conditional Formatting, Power Query and Macro/VBAStrong hands-on experience in developing applications using Excel macros and MS AccessStrong data presentation skillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyProven experience in developing dashboards, trend analysis, data interrogation and reportingAbility to work independently, manage engagements or parts of large engagements directly with business partners.Solid understanding of how to consolidate and transform data to meaningful and actionable informationAbility to draw out meaningful business insights by synthesizing information from multiple sourcesStrong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and storytelling with dataStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.A willingness to listen, challenge, communicate, and respect team member's ideas and opinions openly.Comfortable with ambiguity and effective in delivering iterative solutions.Job Category:
