As a Reporting Analyst on the People Team, you will be a key driver of data-driven decision-making, leveraging advanced analytics to support talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. This role requires a deep understanding of HR metrics, workforce analytics, and data visualization to provide leadership with actionable insights that optimize our engineering talent ecosystem.
Design, develop, and enhance HR analytics frameworks to support workforce planning, hiring trends, retention, performance, and diversity metrics.Serve as the primary analytics partner to HR leadership, providing strategic recommendations based on complex workforce data modeling.Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple HR systems (Workday, ATS, performance management tools) to generate high-impact reports and dashboards.Develop predictive analytics models to forecast talent needs, optimize workforce efficiency, and identify trends impacting talent acquisition and retention.Automate reporting processes and develop self-service analytics tools for HR and business leaders.Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance, working closely with IT, HRIS, and business intelligence teams to optimize data architecture.Translate complex data insights into clear and compelling narratives, presenting findings to senior HR and engineering leadership.Act as an internal consultant, driving data-driven HR strategies and influencing key decision-makers on workforce planning and employee experience improvements.Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, or workforce planning, preferably in a technology or R&D-driven environment.Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and experience with SQL or Python for data extraction and analysis.Deep understanding of HR metrics, workforce analytics, and forecasting models.Experience working with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and applicant tracking systems.Proven ability to present complex data to executive leadership, translating insights into strategic recommendations.Strong business acumen and ability to align HR analytics with broader organizational objectives.Experience in predictive modeling, machine learning for HR analytics, or financial workforce planning is a strong plus.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, R&D-driven environment, working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Engineering teams.Our Team

Hybrid Work Policy
Our hybrid work policy requires three (3) days of in-office collaboration and two (2) days of flexible remote work (within the U.S.) per week. You must be able to meet this requirement. Adherence to the work hybrid schedule allows all team members to collaborate and innovate more effectively.
Total Rewards
At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,345 and $223,735. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. This is an exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
