The Reporting & Analytics Senior Analyst (Senior Tableau Developer) plays a vital role in the development and maintenance of enterprise performance monitoring and reporting solutions tailored for Executive Management and analyst communities. This role provides crucial analytical and technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of various business intelligence solutions. Strong organizational and communication skills, logical and creative thinking, tactical agility, and effective stakeholder management are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities BI Solution Design and Requirements Definition: Lead efforts in understanding business needs related to enterprise performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Translate requirements into detailed, clear, and accurate documentation encompassing wireframes, UX/UI elements, logic, and calculations, etc. BI Solution Development and Maintenance –Develop Tableau dashboards and related solutions for diverse use cases such as enterprise performance tracking and strategic initiatives monitoring. Key responsibilities include: Design and implement complex ETL processes for data from various source systems or manually prepared data models Develop Tableau dashboards for large datasets and complex visualizations Optimize dashboard performance for efficient data retrieval and visualization rendering Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of dashboards and reports Drive continuous improvement to uphold high quality and optimal performance of BI solutions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or related field Advanced proficiency in Tableau including but not limited to advanced calculations, LOD expressions, complex visualizations, and performance optimization techniques Thorough, detail-oriented, and structured thinker with a knack for problem-solving Expertise in advanced Tableau functionalities including LOD expressions, calculated fields, and performance optimization techniques Proven track record in data analytics with a focus on visual storytelling and insights generation Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in written form Proficient in graphic design principles with experience creating UX/UI wireframes for enhanced user experience Exhibits foresight and adapts quickly to changes, developing alternative approaches to problem-solving and embracing innovative solutions Preferably experienced in tools like Jira, SmartSheets, Figma, AdobeXD, etc. for streamlined collaboration and project execution
