Kforce is seeking a seasoned Reporting/Inventory Consultant to join our revenue accounting team for a defense contractor client in McLean, VA. Key Responsibilities: * Reporting/Inventory Consultant will lead and manage revenue accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards * Perform inventory reconciliations, analyze variances between inventory ledger and general ledger, and establish cycle counting procedures * Ensure proper reserves for scrap materials and conduct potential inventory audits * Develop and implement internal controls for inventory management * As a Reporting/Inventory Consultant, you will assist with SEC filings and quarterly reporting * Prepare and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and understand the impact of changes across financial documents * Utilize Deltek Costpoint 8.2 for accounting and financial management tasks
