Are you ready to take on a challenging role as a Reporting/Mass Balance Engineer for a major Midstream development project in Tanzania? Join our team at Airswift and be a part of the project, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal operations and safety for the pipeline and its associated sites.
Role Overview Lead Process Engineering and Flow Assurance support for the project asset, including all sites. Coordinate fluid sampling, laboratory analysis, chemical injection, and chemicals stocks management. Conduct process studies to troubleshoot technical issues and provide validated solutions for improved operability. Custodian of master copies of process documents such as P&IDs, PFDs, and Safety Logic diagrams. Manage the Site Modifications process, ensuring proper validation and follow-up for all modifications. Lead process optimization and simulations. Ensure accurate hydrocarbon accounting of crude from upstream partners into the project’s system. Maintain material balance between upstream partners, including water contribution. Custodian of the Production data management system. Accurately compile and record fiscal/metering data. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual production reports with data integrity. Undertake quality control of PI/PDMS generated reports. Record and maintain statistical records of crude consumption and tank volumes within the asset. Follow-up and report crude offloading data. Produce reports that meet commercial department requirements, partner/shareholder requirements, and government/agency requirements. Provide data for fiscal audits. Maintain records and explanations of production shortfalls. Analyze shortfall classifications to identify areas for improvement. Interface with appropriate entities for meetings and provide clarifications on production reports. Prepare monthly production forecast report for the project asset in coordination with TEPU and upstream partners. Provide oil offloading planning for the project asset in coordination with TEPU and upstream partners. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree in Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or relevant role such as Metering Engineering. Knowledge of Production Data Management System required. Strong communication skills. Computer literacy, including MS Excel and PowerPoint. Education & Experience B.Sc. in Petroleum, Chemical Engineering or in any related Engineering discipline. MSc in Petroleum, Chemical Engineering or in any related Engineering discipline will be added advantage. Pay & Benefits Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
