Reporting Supervisor

Provide leadership, direction and coordination of operational activities within the team, including driving change and optimize service delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain strategy for centralized reporting system and enhancement of Global Reporting Processes
•Oversee operation & responsible for establishing and monitoring team KPIs
•Identify most suitable methodology for Reporting within division
•Prepare and recommend long term performance reporting objectives
•Ensure compliance and ongoing tracking and management of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within the division
•Develop best practice reporting policies, procedures, and standards for all level reporting
•Develop and implement an internal audit process which regularly monitors the accuracy of Global Reporting
•Provide stakeholders within the division managed access to comprehensive, reliable, relevant and up-to-date information and report facilities
•Constantly monitor and report on progress, problems, and solutions of the Global Reporting projects to stakeholders
•Manage visits from internal/external auditors being point of contact for Auditors
•Develop and ensure customized overall analytical reporting, and quality of data and integrity across division
•Develop and embed quality standards and service level agreements for the Global Reporting team. Conducts audit for direct reports (Manager Quality Check)
•Manage Global Reporting initiatives within budget and timeframes
•Manage personal development plans of direct reports
•Perform periodic review of reporting deliverables to effectively manage team headcount
•Conduct annual performance appraisal review, including the provision of timely and accurate feedback for staff.
•Manage training plans; Schedule and facilitates training for knowledge transfer
•Manages the resolution and escalation of issues and concerns
•Manages data maintenance, update process changes and testing phases to ensure excellent transition result.
•Prepare weekly and monthly reporting, agendas, and presentations for stakeholders and internal leadership.
•Direct contact of onshore SMEs on new report transitions
•Ad hoc reports management
•Hiring and interviewing applicants (1st level)

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 3 years relevant experience

•Experienced in Power BI
•Experienced in SAS Base and SAS Enterprise Guide
•Knowledgeable in Alteryx and Tableau
•Experienced in Macros VBA and SQL.
•Strong Data Management background
•Strong Data Visualization background
•People Management skills

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Education Specifics

• Math, Information Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Psychology

Preferred Experience

• Leading complex projects related to reporting systems and processes
•2+ year of working for a General Insurance company
•3+ year in a reporting / analytical role
•2+ years people management experience for a reporting team

Preferred Knowledge

• Fundamental knowledge of Analytics, Reporting, Process Management and MIS
•In depth knowledge of different reporting and analytical tools
•Knowledge in report automation strategies
•Understanding of:
•Source systems
•Process flow and automation
•Skill & Ability to:
•Work with big data
•Navigate data warehouse and/or data supply chain
