Customer Care Representatives will provide billing support and general customer service assistance to Rise Broadband customers via phone or email.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries regarding their bills and rate plans.Assist in right fitting customers to rate plans, equipment, and additional services.Review previous billing statements and charges associated with the accounts.Solve customer issues through active listening and right fitting.Help customers log into and understand how to self-service options.Process requests for service changes.Update and maintain account details with accurate data.Assist customer in getting to other departments if necessary.Adhere to all policies and procedures.Job Requirements
Strong computer skills required.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.Basic understanding of debits and credits.Keyboard and/or typing skills 30 wpm a plus.Exceptional communication skills.Ability to listen and build rapport with customers.Working Conditions
Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
