RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Payment Processing Representative, you will process payments for government/municipality customers and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Process inbound calls answering a variety of questions regarding Certified Payments operations from customers

Handle customer payment inquiries, complaints, and requests for payment information

Openly communicate by listening attentively and actively with customers, peers, leadership, and other departments

Strive for excellence in customer satisfaction by providing courteous service to all internal and external customers

Obtain and share information with other departments and associates as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: (Required)

HS Diploma/GED

Prior customer service and technical troubleshooting experience in a call center environment

Experience informing clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports based on their information needs

Knowledge of computer software systems including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft office applications

Must be 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Desired but not required)

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Bankcard industry experience

Present information in a clear and concise manner

Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail, complete multiple or repetitive tasks, with demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality

Analyze, prioritize, and solve situations by gathering information and evaluating options to make recommendations

Highly productive with minimal guidance

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Track record of maintaining quality standards and implementing quality processes

Manage time effectively

Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
