Summary
The Safety Representative role is responsible for safety and compliance matters for operations across a designated region in a safety-first culture.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
Ability to perform incident investigations using appropriate techniques and to identify and correct root causes Ability to assume & perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions Work well with others and also be able to perform work independently. Demonstrate sound judgment. Have knowledge of safety rules and practices and a very good safety record. Have basic computer skills. Have a history of being dependable & reliable. Good organizational skills, good customer relations skills, and a record of very positive work performance.Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level
Representative – Safety: HS Diploma or equivalent, 6+ YOE Sr Representative – Safety: HS Diploma or equivalent, 8+ YOE Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a related field preferred 5 years general experience in the oil/gas industry Prefer mechanical or instrumentation background Demonstrated ability to calculate and analyze safety metrics including TRIR, LTIR and SIR Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and how they relate to Company operations Excellent time management, communication and organization skills Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.May require walking and standing up to 12 hours a day Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, stretchy Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally Driving, walking, and standing frequently Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment Occasional overnight travel may be required Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
