Key Responsibilities:This position supports IBT traveling Field Service Technicians and any third-party maintenance providers accomplishing maintenance tasks, execution, productivity, accountability and dependability on all United owned Ground Service Equipment and Facility assets. Takes the lead in maintaining the relationship between the line station users and the third-party vendors. Provides technical assistance and guidance to ensure equipment is maintained to company standards. Acts as a communication link with manufactures and service providers in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of United owned or leased equipment. Participates in the monitoring and administration of service level agreements and the work order management system. Maintains a focus on servicing both the line station users, United technicians and third-party providers with maintenance requests and technical guidance. Coordinates the sourcing of United approved parts taking into consideration availability, cost, and operational needs.
Provides technical insight, support, direction, and authorization to those completing maintenance assignments, overhaul, repair and planned maintenance of ground service equipment and/or facility equipment in all domestic line stations where maintenance is primarily completed by external service providers and/or United field service techniciansTravel up to 25% to support locationsLeads maintenance teams’ performance and execution against division and corporate maintenance objectivesThis includes maintenance customer (SLA) service level agreement compliance, maintenance through-put, in-service requirements for all planned and unplanned maintenance program complianceProvides direction and support to United technicians and service providers in identification and ordering of required parts for all ground equipment and facility related preventative maintenance and repairsEnsure all work is assigned and completed in accordance with established procedures and maintenance programsProvides technical input in the development of specific PM checks for any GSE and/or facility maintenance assetsSupports all safety/OSHA, environmental and training complianceLeads accurate and effective customer reporting and communication programs while sustaining positive customer service and effectiveness ratingsProvide technical information, parts support and guidance to International locations who have United owned assetsMaintains proactive communication and positive relations with maintenance team and customer group stakeholdersParticipates in the development, monitoring, and performance against established service level agreementsPerform on-sight maintenance compliance audits to ensure all aspects of United’s maintenance program are being adhered to standardsQualificationsUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. The base pay range for this role is $57,950.00 to $78,980.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
